Maurizio is from the beautiful coastline of the Italian Riviera and has been a professional chef for 40 years. Growing up in a family with a restaurant owner father and a professional fisherman grandfather, he was always surrounded by incredible food. He gives credit to his grandmother’s homemade cooking, especially her fresh bread baked in her wood-brick oven.
After finishing school, he turned cooking into a passion and a career, and he traveled to gain experience at the top restaurants in Europe.
Now, he has relocated to Arizona, where his wife’s family has been based for almost a decade. His passion for cooking is the driving force of his “U’Pan Brado” micro-bakery in the heart of Prescott Valley. He believes in simple, beautiful baking, and he is proud to serve you at the market.
