K and B Farms began in Camp Verde in 1992 with primarily tomatoes to pay the property tax on their land…something Kelly and Beep overlooked when they purchased it. The farm then grew to seven acres of mixed veggies, and they were sold out of a roadside stand. In 2006 they expanded to 20 acres of all veggies and melons and started attending farmers markets, CSAs and supplying fourteen restaurants. In 2010 the crash occurred and they closed the farm. Currently, Kelly and Beep have about two acres in production at their home south of Camp Verde and are growing a variety of vegetable and fruit trees.
