The Growing Vertical Urban Farm was started in 2020 in Prescott Valley and is listed with The Arizona Department Of Agriculture as a micro farm. Kemper and his crew successfully grow 365 days a year using tower gardens in an enclosed environment that is temperature and humidity controlled. They use only organic and non-gmo seeds and 90% less water than traditional growing. Growing Vertical is proud to use no pesticides or fungicides and their produce and seedlings are chemical free. Growing Vertical Urban Farm is also Certified Naturally Grown for their radish and cilantro microgreens.
Kemper grows the following seedlings: Tomatoes, Peppers, Basil, Zucchini, Cucumbers, Lettuce, Spinach, Kale, Broccoli, Herbs, Peas and Beans. Kemper and the Growing Vertical Urban Farm crew will start at PFM with seedlings mostly of Tomato, Strawberries, French Bean, and Basil and as the season expands for the market, they will be selling ready to eat produce as a product as well.
