In Season: July

We’re entering the prime time at the farmers market this month. Summer crops are finally available–eggplant, tomatoes, and summer squash, and by the beginning of August chiles and corn will join the list. We’re also fortunate to have had a good year for fruit! Stone fruits, pears and apples survived the spring and are trickling into the market. In the meantime there is so much to see, hear, smell and taste at the market. Here is a list of what you’ll find at the market this month:
