Are you ready for spring? Join Shanti Rade of Whipstone Farm for a Spring Bulb Garden Workshop on Sunday March 26th from 4-6 pm at The County Seat in Prescott. Join in this fun class to design your own spring bulb garden in a beautiful ceramic compote. A stunning selection of spring bulbs await you, including narcissus, tulips, hyacinth and muscari – all carefully forced through the winter in order to be ready to burst into bloom for you. These planters make fabulous gifts, so does gifting the class to a friend or taking it together. This class is open to everyone who likes flowers – no gardening or floral design experience necessary,

Price includes all materials and flower bulbs will be included along with in-person instruction on how to design and build your bulb garden, how to care for it, how to repurpose it and how to select and force your own bulbs for the future. Glass of wine of NA cocktail and shared appetizers after the class are also included.

Shanti Rade is the owner of Whipstone Farm in Paulden, AZ. She originally moved to Prescott over 20 years ago to pursue a degree in Agroecology. She and her partner Cory run the 20 acre farm growing over 100 varieties of vegetables and flowers. They are mainstays at the Prescott Farmers Market where you can find them on any given Saturday. Shanti began growing flowers 10 years ago and has been expanding her growing repertoire and knowledge ever since. Her flowers can be found not only at the farmers market but at many businesses and florists in Prescott, Flagstaff, Phoenix and the Verde Valley.
