Join Slow Food Prescott, Prescott College, and many others for an afternoon of SEEDS! Seed Mania 2025 is a FREE community seed festival that features food, fun, seeds, networking, speakers, workshops, and kids activities. Whether you are a long-time gardener or just starting your planting journey, everyone is welcome! Join this collaborative event on Sunday, March 23 from 1-6 pm at Prescott College Crossroads Center.
BASIC SEED DONATION GUIDELINES
1. The seed was grown by you (or someone closely related)
2. The seed is second generation… which means you have grown it out and saved the seeds and grown it out again. This is insurance that the seed will come true. If you are knowledgeable enough you could get by with first generation. We won’t be checking.
3. Please package and label your seeds in individual-size packets or seed envelopes. Seed envelopes will be available.
4. Please bring a full description of your seed, just like you’ve found in a seed catalog. You can cut and paste the information from the seed catalog’s website. BUT do identify it as coming from you, including contact information in case people have questions.
5. We could really use your help at this table. Can you volunteer from 12:30 (set up) -2:30 or 2:30-4:30? Email to help.
6. If you are going to have a table at the event for another reason, you can swap your seed from that table.
