The Good Food Film Series from Local First Arizona brings you the stories of our local farmers and food community…all from the comfort of your living room. From disappearing farmland, food forests and edible landscapes to combat climate change, to increasing access to locally grown food, the Spring film series is now available for purchase.

The latest installment features PFM and some of our farmers! Hear their interview with PFM’s Executive Director, Kathleen Yetman, as she explains how our market serves as a great example of serving as a vital hub that boosts our local food community and embraces sustainable practices. Learn details of how our support of the region’s local growers is paving the way for the next generation of backyard growers and farmers and a lively farm-to-table restaurant scene.

Plus, hear the stories of several farmers at the market who are taking small-scale farming to the next level. Their New Wave Urban farming approaches are born out of the land and water challenges they face and the deeply embedded desire to grow fresh produce for their family and community.
