Even though there is NO MARKET this Saturday 11/25, we recognize that extra time in the kitchen means more scraps. We still want all your acceptable kitchen scraps and want you to have plenty of room in your bucket for the following week!
Stop by our COMPOST SITE (not the market) on Saturday, November 25th between 9:00am-11:00am for a quick food-scrap drop-off! Please do NOT leave scraps by the gate outside of these hours!
The Community Compost site is located at 997 Schemmer Drive, Prescott, near the corner of Fairgrounds Avenue and Schemmer Drive (see map below). Enter at the rodeo grounds/Cooperative Extension entrance off Gail Gardner Way. Turn right into the fenced City maintenance yard. You’ll see the compost site at the opposite end. Compost staff will perform the usual green bucket swap and tote bin collection. *Please note that the gate on Schemmer Drive will be closed due to construction on that street.
