Join us for another Community Seed Exchange hosted by Prescott Farmers Market. Everything is free, and every exchange is a little different, which is part of the fun.
It’s always exciting to see what our community has been growing and is anxious to share. We welcome you to bring your own seeds to donate or exchange. This particular Community Seed Exchange is shaping up to be something special because we’re adding a planting pots drop‑off/exchange table. Bring any unwanted pots that are clean and ready to be re‑homed, or pick up something new to you!
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- The exchange is open to the public and you are not required to bring seeds or planting pots in order to participate.
- Please label any seeds that you bring with the crop variety, harvest location, month/year, and the name of the harvester.
- Please bring your own storage for seeds that you take home, such as paper envelopes, resealable bags or clean pill bottles. If you forget, seed envelopes will also be available for use.
- Many seeds that we will be distributing have been grown and saved from local gardeners so they are adapted to the local climate.
We look forward to seeing you, your friends, and neighbors at the market for another free, informative and fun community event!
