PFM is proud to be an approved farmers market for the Arizona Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) which provides Arizona-grown fruits and vegetables to women participating in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and to seniors who participate in the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) through farmers market coupons available now.
WIC participants receive $30 worth of coupons when they show their eWIC card and EzWIC app at the market info booth.
CSFP participants receive $50 worth of coupons when they present their yellow CSFP card.
Participants can pick up coupons once per year at the PFM Information Booth and booklets are available now. Each booklet contains coupons in $5 increments.
Important 2021 Season Dates:
- Last day to pick up coupons: September 30, 2021
- Last day to spend coupons: November 15, 2021
In order to use FMNP coupons appropriately, look for this sign at participating farmer booths. Coupons must be used on Arizona-grown fresh fruits and vegetables. Coupons do not have to all be spent in one purchase; however, there is no change given back on a coupon. Ask your farmers for suggestions on how to best utilize your coupon dollars at PFM. The following farmers can accept these coupons:
- Aguiar Farm
- Blooming Reed Farm
- Hernandez Farm
- Local Greens
- Mina’s Farm
- Reyes Farm
- Schaffer Farms
- Sun Valley Harvest
- Super Natural Sprouts
- Whipstone Farm
This program is administered by the Chandler-based nonprofit, Pinnacle Prevention, whose mission is to inspire and advance a healthy food system and opportunities for active living.
