Arizona Gives Day is a statewide day of giving to benefit nonprofits, and Prescott Farmers Market (PFM) is thrilled to participate again this year on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
Since PFM began in 1997 in downtown Prescott as a small growers’ cooperative, we have grown in size and in purpose. In 2012, PFM received nonprofit status and does so much more than host a weekend market. As a vital part of the economy, the mission of Prescott Farmers Market is to support and expand local agriculture, cultivate a healthy community and increase access to affordable local food. In 2014, PFM launched a winter market based on requests from local growers and food vendors. PFM now operates a year-round market in Prescott, a summer market in Chino Valley and a smaller seasonal market in Downtown Prescott. Our organization has six part-time staff members.
PFM has always worked to support the wellness of the Prescott-area community, but the COVID-19 pandemic kicked us into high gear! Local food — growing it, eating it, sharing it — is our vehicle for supporting our neighbors and protecting our planet.

If our work in your community is important to you, please give us a gift that will allow us to continue! You can donate early today at https://www.azgives.org/prescottfarmersmarket or plan your gift on Tuesday, April 6th!
We have also partnered with one of the newest restaurants in downtown Prescott, The County Seat! On April 6th, The County Seat will donate 10% of all sales to PFM! So make a donation and treat yourself for your good deed with delicious food from a new local favorite (take out available!). Open from 8:00am to 8:00pm, with happy hour from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Support local twice in one day!
