You can find a wide variety of fresh vegetables throughout the season
of the Farmers Market – check out What's
Fresh to see what is currently in season at the market. All produce sold at the market is sold by the person who grows it...you can ask the questions you want to know about the food your eating!
Organic Produce:You'll
find vendors with organic produce that have been grown without synthetic
pesticides and fertilizers. We encourage you to check with specific
vendors for more information on their farming practices.
Fruit: When in season, you can find
grapes, apples, pears, berries and other kinds of fruit at the market.
Meat and Dairy:
Farmers cheese and local meat are available at the market.
Baked goods:
You can buy a loaf of bread to take home, or get yourself something
sweet to snack on as you walk around from one of the bakeries. Vendors are required to have a minimum of 10% arizona grown ingredients in their products.
Specialty Items:
Some vendors specialize in certain types of products, such as preserves,
candies, honey, salsa, tamales or pasta. In addition, vendors produce natural body and health products such as lotion and soap. Vendors are required to have a minimum of 10% arizona grown ingredients in their products.
Flowers and plants: Since
you're going to cook something wonderful, why not pick up something
